Welcome to the Flickr Gadget; the first desktop gadget to roll out of uZable.com. What are desktop gadgets you ask? Well lets just say that we shall leave the educative information for later and jump straight to our wonderful creation: The Flickr Gadget.
What is it?
The Flickr Gadget is a small desktop gadget that sits on your desktop and shows you photos from Flickr.com with amazing panache. It is a lightweight standalone .exe file that can be installed and removed easily, and is powered by the extremely powerful Stardock DesktopX Engine.
What does it look like?
I have been waiting to answer this question. Here are the screenshots
What are its features?
It shows recent photos from Flickr It shows photos from user defined tags It has more style than John Travolta in Swordfish (We are sure John is already using the Flickr Gadget) It has buttons you would really, really want to click
How much does it cost?
Just like the best things in life which are free, the best digital photo frame in the world is also free! Totally! Really!
Why?
Cuz we are a bunch of guys who, apart from making a lot of money writing commercial software, love building great free software Cuz this is probably one of the few ways to do something nice for hundreds of thousands of people.
Where and how do I get it?
Click here to download the uZable Flickr Gadget. This will download the setup package of the gadget. Just double-click the downloaded zip file, you'll find a setupflickrgadget.exe within, run it. The setup wizard will take you through the install process. Once it's done setting up the gadget, the wizard will automatically start the uZable Flickr Gadget for you as well. Minimize everything to see your new Desktop gadget showing the latest pictures from Flickr.
