Updates
A List of things that have been accomplished in this version release:
- Connection Detection
and Handling
We now detect whether you have the Internet connected and automatically
pause the photo slideshow. And yes, when your Internet connection resumes,
we resume the slideshow as well. - Asynchronous,
asynchronous!
Everything (all Internet traffic) happens asynchronously, now. For
the rest of you who don’t get that, the gadget will now not stop
responding, while it’s getting information and photos from Flickr. Which
is good. :) - We’ve got wheels.
Whenever the gadget is talking to Flickr we show a (shhmoooothly,
if I may add) rotating wheel on the photo. You may like it, you may like
it not. Tell us what you think. - Other fixes
The known issue where
the options frame’s buttons wouldn’t highlight to show the selected tab.
Click on options on the remote to figure out what I’m talking about.
Better labels for the start with windows option.
Other miscellaneous fixes that I really don’t wanna go into for sake of
brevity.
Known Issues, bugs and other required fixes
A List of issues that have been identified in this release but have not been
fixed yet. If you come across other issues or bugs please post them as
comments under this article or in the forums here.
- Picture has stopped auto-docking
since regrouping.
- Right click menu needs to be
there for the frame the remote and the tray icon
- Glow opacity should go from
20 to 100 and not 0 to 100
Feature Wishlist
A List of features that have been requested and will be added in future
releases. If you have a feature in mind that you would like the uZable Flickr
Gadget to have, post it in the forum here.
Please note that the following list is a list of features that are
immediately implementable in the upcoming releases. The long term features have
been left out. and can be discussed in the forums
- Keyboard support for the
options dialog (enter, crtl-tab, esc and tab)
- Global Bring to front / back
and Show / hide key settings
- Show how many photos got
fetched when applying a tag set. (Munks)
- “Transition” the new photo
from the previous one
- Get a better wheel to rotate?
Get a better icon for the
damn thing!
